These terms govern your use of RogerDeck, a private push-to-talk communications app for live-event production crews, operated by G3E Global LLC, a Florida limited liability company.
By signing in to RogerDeck you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.
RogerDeck is a production communication tool. It is not an emergency response system and it is not a replacement for 911, for a venue's life-safety systems, or for any radio or communication system a production is legally required to operate.
Do not rely on RogerDeck as your only means of reaching help. It depends on mobile data and on third-party networks, and those can fail. The emergency feature inside the app alerts the crew on your production. It does not contact emergency services.
RogerDeck is invite-only. You get an account because a production staffed you onto it, and the channels you can reach are the ones that production put you on. You must be old enough to work on the productions you are staffed to, and you must give accurate profile information, because your crew identifies you by it over the radio.
Your account is tied to your mobile number and is yours alone. Do not share it, and do not sign in on behalf of someone else. A radio only works if the name attached to a voice is the right one. Tell your crew lead if your number changes or if you lose the device it is on.
RogerDeck carries working communications for crews who may be in the dark, at height, or around moving equipment. Do not use it to harass anyone, to transmit content unrelated to the production, to impersonate another crew member, or to interfere with a channel others depend on. A production may remove you from its channels at any time.
RogerDeck sends one-time sign-in passcodes and occasional account notifications about your crew membership. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
You opt in inside the RogerDeck mobile app by entering your own mobile number on the sign-in screen and requesting a passcode. No message is sent to a number until the person holding it takes that action.
Message frequency varies. You receive a passcode each time you ask for one, plus occasional account notifications.
RogerDeck does not charge you for these messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS from RogerDeck. You will receive one confirmation and nothing after that. Because sign-in passcodes arrive by SMS, stopping them means you will not be able to sign in until you reply START.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier and network conditions outside our control.
Voice you send by holding the talk key on a channel is stored briefly so your crew has an accurate record of the call: for up to 90 days after the session closes, and 30 days once it has been transcribed. Speech-to-text and translation of that audio are being built and are not live yet. A private one-to-one call is different: nothing about it is recorded, ever, by design. How this information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
RogerDeck is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses arising from an outage, a delayed message, an undelivered transmission, or a translation that does not carry the full meaning of what was said. Confirm anything safety-critical by a second means.
During the private beta, RogerDeck is provided to productions under a separate written arrangement. Individual crew members are never charged for using the app.
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will notify crews through the app when a change is material. You may stop using RogerDeck at any time and ask us to delete your account. A production may end your access to its channels at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
