Terms & Conditions
Last updated 29 September 2026
These terms govern your use of RogerDeck, a private push-to-talk communications app for live-event production crews, operated by G3E Global LLC, a Florida limited liability company.
By signing in to RogerDeck you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.
Not a substitute for emergency services
RogerDeck is a production communication tool. It is not an emergency response system and it is not a replacement for 911, for a venue's life-safety systems, or for any radio or communication system a production is legally required to operate.
Do not rely on RogerDeck as your only means of reaching help. It depends on mobile data and on third-party networks, and those can fail. The emergency feature inside the app alerts the crew on your production. It does not contact emergency services.
Who can use RogerDeck
RogerDeck is invite-only. You get an account because a production staffed you onto it, and the channels you can reach are the ones that production put you on. You must be old enough to work on the productions you are staffed to, and you must give accurate profile information, because your crew identifies you by it over the radio.
Your account
Your account is tied to your mobile number and is yours alone. Do not share it, and do not sign in on behalf of someone else. A radio only works if the name attached to a voice is the right one. Tell your Crew Chief if your number changes or if you lose the device it is on.
Using it properly
RogerDeck carries working communications for crews who may be in the dark, at height, or around moving equipment. Do not use it to harass anyone, to transmit content unrelated to the production, to impersonate another crew member, or to interfere with a channel others depend on. A production may remove you from its channels at any time.
Do not post or send anything that harasses, threatens or demeans anyone, or that is sexual, hateful, violent or illegal. We review every report within 24 hours and may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.
SMS terms
What we send
RogerDeck sends one-time sign-in passcodes by SMS. If you ask for them on the request-access form on rogerdeck.com, we also send texts about RogerDeck, by SMS or WhatsApp. If someone asks us by email to delete your account, we send one text from our own phone to the number on the account, so you can confirm it was you. We send no other messages.
How you opt in
For passcodes, you opt in inside the RogerDeck mobile app by entering your own mobile number on the sign-in screen and requesting a passcode. No passcode is sent to a number until the person holding it asks for one. For texts about RogerDeck, you opt in by ticking the box on the request-access form. It is never required, and no such text is sent to a number unless that box was ticked for it.
How often
Message frequency varies. You receive a passcode each time you ask for one, texts about RogerDeck if you opted in, and one text if someone asks us to delete your account.
Cost
RogerDeck does not charge you for these messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS from RogerDeck. You will receive one confirmation and nothing after that. Because sign-in passcodes arrive by SMS, stopping them means you will not be able to sign in until you reply START. Texts about RogerDeck also stop when you reply STOP on WhatsApp or write to us.
Reply HELP for contact information, or write to hello@rogerdeck.com.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier and network conditions outside our control.
Recording and records
Voice you send by holding the talk key on a channel goes live to your crew and is not recorded. RogerDeck keeps who spoke, on which channel and when, and what is written on a channel. One-to-one calls are not in the app yet; when they arrive, they will never be recorded, by design. How this information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
RogerDeck is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses arising from an outage, a delayed message, an undelivered transmission, or a translation that does not carry the full meaning of what was said. Confirm anything safety-critical by a second means.
Fees
RogerDeck is provided to productions under a separate written arrangement. Individual crew members are never charged for using the app.
Changes and ending your use
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will notify crews through the app when a change is material. You may stop using RogerDeck at any time and delete your account in the app, under Settings, Delete your account, or ask us to. A production may end your access to its channels at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
